Stunning Shots-Daisy-He Loves Me. He Loves Me Not. He Loves Me…
When I was young I thought the Daisy was boring. Such a common flower. I didn’t appreciate it for it’s beauty.
Now I love how a daisy looks in the flower beds amid the lilies, roses and other colorful perennials. It’s flower dances in the wind catching my eye.
Butterflies love the daisy. Some days I look out and there are multiple butterflies perched and flitting all around the tall white tops. The contrasting pattern of their butterfly wings stand out and catch my attention.
I remember daisies all around my parents home as I was growing up, I would sit and pull off the petals whispering the childhood ditty; “He loves Me, He loves Me not”.
My sister and I would play together, and we would giggle if the last petal would result in “He loves Me not”. We would grab another daisy and continue until we got the answer we wanted.
Like shaking the Magic 8 Ball until it gives you the answer you want to hear. <Not that I do that. Ahem>LOL
I love daisies too much now to pull off their petals. And I’m pretty sure that “He loves Me”.
